How it works
- Each student receives an RFID card.
- Readers at entry points record attendance when the card is tapped.
- Data flows to the TITUS platform in real time.
- Absent students trigger calls to parents automatically.
RFID or biometric?
Both methods are available, and the right choice depends on your school’s size, entry layout and budget. RFID cards are quick for large numbers of students; biometric suits staff attendance and places where cards could be shared. We will recommend what fits during your first conversation with us.
| RFID card | Biometric | |
|---|---|---|
| Speed at the gate | Very fast, a single tap | Slightly slower |
| Risk of misuse | Cards can be lent or lost | Tied to the individual |
| Typical use | Students | Staff, secure areas |
What is included
Cards, hardware, the server and ongoing service. Pricing depends on the size of your school and the setup, so we quote it after understanding your needs.
Frequently asked questions
What is an RFID attendance system?
An RFID attendance system uses a card that a reader recognises when it is tapped. The reader records the time and the student, and the data goes to a central platform. It replaces manual registers with fast, accurate digital records.
Can parents be informed automatically?
Yes. When a student is absent, the system can trigger an automatic call to the parent, supported by our team for conversations that need a person.
What happens if a card is lost?
The lost card is deactivated and a replacement issued, so the old card cannot be used.
Do you install the hardware?
We supply and support the cards, readers and server. Installation arrangements are agreed with your school.
