Guide

How to digitalize your school, step by step, without chaos.

To digitalize a school, start with one area, usually fees, attendance or parent communication, get it working, then add exams, admissions and transport. Choose a partner who trains staff and does some of the work. TITUS SYSTEMS offers the software, the app and a team to run it.

Do not try everything at once

Schools that switch every process on the same day usually overwhelm staff and end up going back to registers. A phased plan works better.

A sensible order

  • Month 1: Fees. Bring fee records online, issue digital receipts, start reminders.
  • Month 2: Attendance and parent alerts. Mark attendance on a phone or with RFID and alert parents.
  • Month 3: Communication. Notices, homework and a parent app.
  • Then: examinations and report cards, admissions enquiries, transport.

Make staff comfortable

  • Train a few confident people first.
  • Keep the old register for a short overlap, then stop.
  • Pick a vendor who answers when staff are stuck.

Protect your data

Ask where data is stored, who can see it, and how you can take it back. Children’s data needs special care under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Frequently asked questions

How can I digitalize my school?

Start with fees and attendance, add parent communication, then exams and admissions, with a partner who trains staff.

How long does it take?

A first area can run within weeks. Adding the rest takes a few months, depending on the school.

Do we need new hardware?

Not for most areas. RFID attendance and bus tracking need devices, which a vendor can arrange.
